MISSION
-
Provide our customers with economically viable solutions for small- and mid-scale gas applications consisting of bespoke and optimised supply- and infrastructure solutions
-
Support the energy transition by reducing emissions (CO2 and other) and by removing the bottlenecks for the application of renewables.
COMPANY PROFILE
Gas Elements is based in the Netherlands and was founded in 2019.
The company is specialised in setting up optimised gas supply chains for the midscale market, a segment which is particularly challenging to achieve a system that is economically viable versus its alternatives.
The team has a broad experience in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industry, with a proven track record in commodity trading, risk management, market analysis, structuring, technology development, engineering solutions and project implementation. This enables Gas Elements to integrate and optimise all elements of a gas supply chain; a prerequisite to establish the economic license-to-operate for a midscale gas import project.
Within the overall gas supply chain, a gas import terminal is a crucial element. Gas Elements is agnostic regarding technology, but has a proven expertise of successfully developing and implementing bespoke and optimised solutions, including onshore and floating application of 'RPV' technology (which Gas Elements has co-developed). These solutions are cheaper, quicker to implement and more flexible than the conventional storage solutions.
Gas Elements works with its customers to develop and implement optimised solutions for an integrated gas value chain. The services of Gas Elements towards end-users include the development, implementation (and -if needed- operation) of (part of) the entire supply chain and infrastructure (see 'Services').
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS - TWO EXAMPLES

CRACKER CONVERSION
Conversion of a cracker in the UK from liquid feed to US ethane, first of
its kind. The project was initiated and developed by the Gas Elements team.
The successful implementation of the ethane supply chain included an
anchor-customer role for the investment in world's largest liquefaction plant
in Houston, long-term molecule acquisition contracts, three bespoke
innovative new-build ethane carriers and a large cryogenic import facility.
INNOVATIVE GAS TERMINAL

The Gas Elements team initiated and co-developed the concept of onshore 'RPV' technology, applying offshore technology and its superior safety performance.
A terminal in Antwerp -the first of its kind worldwide in such size and format- has been implemented and started operations in 2019.
